Vibes are immaculate, good music, cozy, and such cool drinks! Got the desert flower and milk punch. Came on a Saturday at 8:30 and didn't require a reservation. Desert flower was very "margarita" esque and not spicy despite the description. It was refreshing and fruity. The milk punch was super surprising, not typically a fan of the milk and alcohol combo but it works in the drink. The drink gave holiday vibes (spices, cozy, and creamy).

Interesting Asian-inspired drinks with a nice ambiance. Great for date nights or with medium size groups. The Earl Grey Gimlet was flavorful and quite citrus-forward. They also offer low-ABV cocktails - the Plum Blossom was tasty too. They serve food here as well, and their kitchen closes at 11pm (last call at 10:45pm). Was unable to try, but will def be coming back.

One of the cutest tucked away bars I've been to in LES. Love that they sell Chinese spirits here... it was our first time trying Báijiu and the bartender was super helpful with guiding us on choosing the right cocktail! Sad we were too late to try the food but we will definitely be back!

Came here with a group of 7 for dinner. Drinks: everything on the cocktail menu is great. Personal favorite was the monkey king which has a delicious caramelized banana on top. Additionally, I heard their take on a G&T is excellent. Food: try everything! Personal favorites are the yuzu shrimp, the spicy chicken, and the crab fried rice. Honorary mention for the sizzling beef and crab fried rice. Ambiance: great spot, but it is a little tight. If you have a large group it will be a tight fit for plates and drinks and the seats.

Super intimate vibes with unique drinks and snacks. We were able to walk in and get seated at the bar. We originally came in just for drinks, but ended up trying some small bites too! The entire drink menu is super unique and the descriptions were very much appreciated. My friend got the earl grey gimlet and I ordered the red sorghum. The earl grey was very strongly earl grey; I've tried similar tea based drinks where the flavor barely came through. My drink was definitely sweet (in a good way), as described! The flavor profiles are very fun and feel very curated and intentional. We also ordered the sichuan wontons and crispy tofu, which were also great. Usually don't go for wontons, but these definitely tasted authentic and the tofu was a pretty large serving.

Last night was my second time at Ye's Apothecary. My friend made a reservation ahead of time, and we expected the place to be on the empty side due to the crazy rain. However, it was packed to the brim, with only one table available, which was ours. We took our seats, and the host told us that since they were fully booked for the night, we would have a 90 minute limit. I definitely recommend browsing the menu ahead of time so you're ready to order as soon as you sit down. 90 minutes goes by fast! To drink I ordered the Shanghai 75, which was delicious! A bit sour, but not too much, and very fruity. I also tried their Master Gao Black Lager which was good too! To eat, we ordered the Sichuan Wontons, Eggplant Tempura, and Fisherman's Garlic Prawns. The wontons and eggplant tempura were so good! The wontons had an addicting spice to them and were so flavorful. The tempura was perfect; crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The garlic prawns were a bit on the bland side and kind of messy with all the toppings. The service was warm and friendly. They were quick to clear our plates and check in on us. They dropped the check about 15 mins before our time was up, and let us know that the party after us arrived with about 5 mins to go. So they were definitely watching the clock. Solid 4. Good drinks, decent food, friendly service. Just make sure to do your homework ahead of time!
